Station Description:	Mahadey Weyne gauging station is located in Middle Shabelle Region. The station was operational pre-war between 1963 and 1990. Daily river level and flow data from this station served the farming communities in this region where large scale irrigated farming was practiced. The river gauging station was re-established in 2008. River level data continue to be collected from the station on daily basis to date. The available ratings are the pre-war. Similar to other locations along the Shabelle River discharge measurements to update the ratings has not been possible.
